There is no single right way to service a classic. It depends entirely on what you want from the car.

A numbers-matching classic restoration and a modified weekend driver call for different decisions about the same worn part. So does a car you take to shows versus one you actually drive to dinner. Before we recommend anything, we want to know which of those describes yours, because originality, reliability, drivability and future value pull in different directions and you are the one who gets to choose.

The work itself spans mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, drivability, brakes, suspension, cooling, fluids, and the modern components that have often been fitted to older platforms over the years. Previous repairs, long storage, nonstandard parts and limited-use driving all shape what should be addressed first.

Classic air-cooled Porsches, early Mustangs, Alfas, British roadsters and one-off builds are all regular visitors. We treat the car as a whole and we ask before we assume.

Owning a classic or specialty vehicle means making decisions that a normal repair order does not cover.

Preserving an original component that still works is one path. Replacing it with something that will not leave you on the shoulder is another. A nonstandard part from a previous owner may be worth undoing, or it may have earned its place. A repair can follow factory specification or reflect how you actually use the classic now. Reasonable owners land in different places, and where you land changes what we recommend.

Documentation and history help. So does knowing how the car has been stored, how often it gets driven, and what you have planned for it, whether that is a tour, a show, a sale, or another twenty years in the garage.

We would rather have that conversation before the car goes on the lift than hand you an estimate that assumes we know. Family owned since 2015, and we understand what a classic means to the person who owns it.
