Tires are the only part of your car that touches the road, which makes them worth more thought than tread depth alone.

Tire service here includes inspection, rotation, balancing, puncture repair when a repair is appropriate, and honest guidance on replacement. We look at wear pattern, inflation history, age, damage and balance, because those tell us whether the tires are simply worn or whether something else is wearing them.

Cupping, feathering, inside edge wear, a vibration at a specific speed or a tire that keeps losing pressure all point somewhere: alignment, suspension, a bent wheel, or a slow leak worth finding rather than topping off.

Choosing replacements depends on the vehicle and how you drive. Load rating on a truck, speed rating on a performance car, and the extra weight and instant torque of an EV all narrow the field. Book online and we will talk through the options. We will also tell you when a tire does not need replacing yet, which is not always what people expect to hear.

Plenty of tread does not automatically mean plenty of tire.

Rubber ages. A tire with most of its tread that has been on the car for eight years can develop sidewall cracking and lose grip, particularly in the wet, and the date code on the sidewall tells you more than the depth gauge does. Tires that spent time underinflated may have internal damage that is not visible. Sidewall damage from a curb is worth a look even when it seems cosmetic.

Inflation deserves more attention than it gets. Underinflation builds heat and wears the outer edges, overinflation wears the center and makes the ride harsh, and both hurt braking. Pressure moves with temperature, so a set that was correct in October will read low in January.

Different vehicles have genuinely different requirements around load, speed rating, noise and rolling resistance. Fitting the wrong tire to a truck or an EV is a safety and wear issue, not just a comfort one.
