Lamborghini Storage And Readiness
A Lamborghini spends most of its life waiting, and waiting is harder on a car than driving it.
Fluids degrade with time rather than distance. Brake fluid absorbs moisture and loses boiling point, which matters a great deal on a car with this much capability. Coolant loses its protective properties. Engine oil deteriorates through condensation and heat cycles. A Lamborghini with a few hundred miles since its last service can be comfortably past due.
Brake rotors develop surface corrosion and caliper slides stiffen when they are not exercised. Tires harden and age out well before the tread wears, and the date code tells you more than the depth. Batteries discharge while modules complete their shutdown routines, and a flat battery on one of these causes more trouble than a jump start resolves.
Coming out of a layup, a proper inspection before a long drive beats discovering something after one. Brakes, fluids, tire age and pressures, charging system health and a diagnostic scan for anything logged while the car sat.
