A Jeep is rarely left alone. Some stay factory for a lifetime, most collect a lift, larger tires, a winch, armor, a regear or all of it, and each change affects something else.
We work on both. Scheduled maintenance, brakes, cooling, transmission, drivetrain, electrical diagnostics and the drivability faults common across these platforms on one side. Lift and suspension installation, alignment for modified geometry, driveshaft angles, steering behavior and the supporting work modifications require on the other.
Modified Jeeps develop symptoms that are not component failures. Larger tires change effective gearing and load the brakes and drivetrain harder. A lift alters suspension geometry and driveshaft angles. Steering behavior can change for reasons that have nothing to do with a worn part. Knowing which is which saves replacing things that were never the problem.
Water intrusion, electrical corrosion, cooling under load and axle condition all get attention on the vehicles that actually go off pavement.

Jeep Modifications Change Wear
Once a Jeep is modified, some of its symptoms stop being failures and start being consequences.
Larger tires change effective gearing, which affects acceleration, transmission behavior and fuel economy, and they add unsprung weight the brakes and steering components have to manage. A lift alters suspension geometry, driveshaft angles and steering linkage relationships. Wheel offset changes the load path through bearings and ball joints.
So a vibration, a wandering feel, uneven tire wear or a steering complaint on a lifted Jeep may point at the build rather than a worn part. Replacing components without addressing the geometry produces a repair that comes back.
Jeep alignment capability changes too. Some lift configurations move the adjustment range far enough that correcting an angle requires additional hardware rather than a turn of an adjuster.
We evaluate the whole setup rather than the first worn item we find, and we will tell you honestly if a symptom traces to how the vehicle is built rather than to something that failed. That conversation saves more money than any single repair.
