Track & Performance Vehicle Prep

A car that is perfectly reliable on the street can find its limits in the first twenty minutes of a session.

Sustained heat, repeated hard braking, high cornering loads and extended time at elevated engine speed reveal weaknesses that a commute never will. Track preparation is about finding those before the event rather than during it.

Track prep means brakes and brake fluid rated for the temperatures you will actually see, tire condition and pressures for the surface, alignment set for the intended use, cooling capacity, fluid condition throughout, driveline inspection, torque verification on critical fasteners, and a diagnostic scan to catch anything pending.

Porsches, Corvettes, BMW M cars, Mustangs, Miatas and purpose built cars all get the same approach. We are Porsche Club members, we understand what a track weekend asks of a car, and we would rather you spend it driving than in the paddock with the hood up.

Consistency beats peak power on track, and it is the thing most builds are missing.

The car that runs the same lap on session four as it did on session one is the one to have. That comes from thermal management, fluid choice, brake capacity and mechanical condition rather than another twenty horsepower. Fade, heat soak, a cooling system at its limit and a fluid past its rating will all cost you far more time than the power gain bought.

The track prep checklist is unglamorous and it works. Fluids fresh and correct, brakes with real material left, tires appropriate to the surface, wheel torque verified, no leaks, nothing pending in the diagnostic memory, and belts and mounts intact.
